Held from August 13 to 16, the event comprised the 10th Cambodia Int’l Machinery Industry Fair (CIMIF 2026), the 10th Cambodia Int’l Textile & Garment Industry Exhibition (CTG 2026), and the 10th Cambodia Int’l Plastics, Rubber, Packaging & Printing Industry Fair (CambodiaPlasPrintPack 2026). Together, the exhibitions created a dynamic hub for cross-sector innovation, industry exchange, and business matchmaking.

Beyond the remarkable visitor turnout, the scale of the exhibitions further reflected the business community’s growing confidence in Cambodia’s economic prospects and eagerness to explore opportunities across its expanding manufacturing landscape. Spanning 6,000 square meters and featuring more than 200 exhibitors from 16 countries and regions, the event connected global suppliers with local buyers, manufacturers, and industry professionals seeking new technologies, sourcing opportunities, and long-term business partnerships.

Industry Leaders See Growing Opportunities in Cambodia

During the show, international exhibitors showcased standout products and solutions while sharing their perspectives on Cambodia’s evolving industrial landscape and future growth potential.

Hunter Yeh of HUNSON ENTERPRISE CO., LTD. explained that HUNSON specializes in machine vision solutions that serve as the “eyes” of factory automation. Its portfolio includes industrial cameras, AI-powered vision systems, lighting controllers, lenses, and automation solutions designed to help manufacturers improve product quality and production efficiency. Through its participation in CIMIF 2026, the company aimed to bring Taiwan’s advanced automation technologies to Cambodia and explore new opportunities in the market.

Shen Yikai, General Manager of TAPERITE PLASTIC, shared that the company manufactures adhesive tapes and tape dispensers in Cambodia. Marking its first participation in CIMIF, the company was impressed by the strong visitor turnout. Having previously focused primarily on exports, TAPERITE PLASTIC now aims to expand into the domestic market and connect with more Cambodian customers.

Mr. Shen added that while U.S. tariff considerations initially influenced the company’s decision to establish operations in Cambodia, its outlook has since extended well beyond that factor. Cambodia’s young and energetic workforce, combined with its rapidly growing economy, has strengthened the company’s confidence in the market and encouraged it to consider further investment.

Eddie Liu, Marketing Manager and Brand Ambassador of HIKARI (SHANGHAI) PRECISE MACHINERY SCIENCE & TECHNOLOGY CO., LTD., presented the company’s lockstitch, interlock, and overlock sewing machines, as well as its automated sewing equipment.

Mr. Liu also expressed optimism about Cambodia’s market potential in light of recent changes in U.S. tariff policies. In his view, Cambodia’s competitive tariff position compared with other Southeast Asian manufacturing destinations could further strengthen its appeal to garment manufacturers and industry investors.

Eddie Tsai, Sales Manager of KAULIN MFG. CO., LTD. (SIRUBA), described SIRUBA as a Taiwan-based company specializing in industrial sewing machines for garment manufacturers worldwide. He noted the strong potential of the Cambodian market, driven by the continued growth of its garment industry and rising demand for efficient, high-quality production equipment. Mr. Tsai said SIRUBA aims to meet these evolving needs by providing reliable solutions and long-term support to local customers.

Wang Zhengyuan, Regional General Manager of SHANG GONG GROUP CO., LTD. (SGG GROUP), highlighted the company’s advanced sewing technologies and intelligent manufacturing solutions for the garment, automotive, footwear, handbag, and other industries. He noted that Cambodia’s growing demand for greater efficiency, quality, and automation is creating significant opportunities for technology providers. With its comprehensive portfolio of technologies and solutions, SHANG GONG GROUP is well positioned to support local manufacturers and grow alongside the Cambodian market.

Jessie, a representative of the Foreign Trade Department of NINGBO YONGHUA PLASTIC MACHINERY MANUFACTURING CO., LTD. shared that the company, established in 1985, specializes in manufacturing plastic injection molding machines. As Cambodia’s manufacturing sector continues to develop, demand for plastic products and injection molding equipment is also increasing. Through its participation in CambodiaPlasPrintPack 2026, the company aimed to expand its presence in Southeast Asia and identify a long-term local partner, emphasizing that reliable after-sales service is just as important as the machinery itself.

The exhibitors’ perspectives reflected a shared view of Cambodia as a market with room for long-term growth. Beyond immediate sales opportunities, companies are increasingly looking to build local partnerships, strengthen technical support, and develop a lasting presence in the country.
